ASP.NET Charting and FileHelpers
Join us on March 10th for a presentation on the ASP.NET Charting Control Library and an Open Source Library for working with flat files and XML.
ASP.NET Charting Control
Microsoft has recently released a .NET Charting Control toolset that allows you to create great looking charts and graphs in your ASP.NET applications fairly quickly and easily. David Hoerster will give you a brief overview of this library and show a few examples.
File Helpers
Even though there are better ways to transfer data, flat files are still a fact of life for many of us. Working with flat files natively can be a pain, but there is a wonderful library which makes working with flat files a breeze. In this demo, we’ll process flat data files to and from XML, and do a database sample if time allows. If you want to work along, download and install the FileHelpers library at http://filehelpers.sourceforge.net/, and bring your laptop.
